One of the two church bells of Waterperry church must have been replaced in 1732 because it is inscribed 'Thomas Rippington, Church Warden. E. Hemins, fecit, 1732'
Between 1729 and 1749 he was appointed as an Overseer of the Poor.
He left a will dated 29th Jan 1778 and left £100 to his daughter Ann, 1 shilling and the furniture in his bedroom to his daughter Mary, £300 to his daughter Sarah and the residue to his son Thomas.
