- She endowed Marston Church with a new East window.
It is inscribed "In memory of M A Cannon and other relatives; dedicated by A S Rippington AD 1903".
Although the glass used for the main themes in the window is Edwardian some of the peripheral pieces are medieval.
(Mary Ann Cannon was her aunt, nee Simms, with whom Ann was living in 1881 as her companion)
On her death she left a bequest in her will for three funds:-
1) to supply coal ot the poor of Marston at Christmas
2) to assist in the expenses of the church
3) to assist in the expenses of the school.
